We want all our children to go out into this world and be kind to others and show kindness to others. But our society doesn’t show kindness to others. I see this in Instagram posts, people’s comments, and at school with the children I work with everyday. Sometimes I think what happened to our world to make people so unhappy all the time. At school I try my best to teach my students about kindness and that one small act of it can spread and continue to help spread it through our community. I also try to teach them it doesn’t have to be money it can be a simple hello to someone or a thank you. You never know when that hello or thank you will mean something to someone.
I really truly hope they take that to heart.
